ONE Friday Fights 79 saw more thrills and spills go down inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium as devoted combat sports fans once again got more than their money's worth from the weekly series.
The night's main event saw Thai favorite Kongchai Chanaidonmueang return to winning ways with a unanimous decision victory after three hard-hitting rounds of 126-pound catchweight Muay Thai against Amir Abdulmuslimov.

The Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion was weary of the Russian's long limbs from the early goings, so he knew he had to get inside to target Abdulmuslimov's lead leg profusely, setting up punching combinations.
Kongchai continued his low kick attacks in the second frame. That forced his foe to react with wild punches as the tension rose. But the pair let loose as the round closed, with Abdulmuslimov unfortunately dropping Kongchai just after the bell.
The duo picked up where they left off in round three, but Kongchai remained smart as he punished his man's legs once more to capture the unanimous decision win and return to winning ways.
In the featured bout of the evening, Soner Sen got back in the win column with a huge third-round knockout over Nonthakit Tor Morsri after a back-and-forth encounter in 143-pound catchweight Muay Thai action.
It's no secret how heavy handed this duo can be, so the opening frame saw an understandably tentative affair. That was until Sen decided to press on and land a spinning back fist before eating a solid counter in return.
In round two, Nonthakit let the reins loose with heavy singular strikes, encouraging his nemesis into a barnburner. But Sen remained reserved as he continued to successfully select his shots.
With the action very close in the final frame, Sen pressured and refused to give his Thai enemy any room against the ropes. Moments later, "Golden Boy's" one-punch power paid off as a tremendous right hook touched Nonthakit on the chin at 1:54 of round three.
