The 80th installment of ONE Friday Fights went down with a treat inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, 20 September, as more world class athletes looked to punch their way to ONE Championship's global roster.
The main event saw Yodnumnchai Fairtex earn the sixth straight win of his promotional tenure after outwitting Rak Erawan across three-rounds of high-octane atomweight Muay Thai action at the top of the bill.

Yodnumchai quickly took control of the bout after smacking Rak with a huge right punch just seconds into the bout that immediately got his compatriot's attention. From there, Rak was awoken as he attempted to start a firefight with his foe, but Yodnumchai remained wary.
The 20-year-old entered round two with more of the same offense as the Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion began to wear the wounds of war across his face, and the same crisp striking allowed the former to grow that much more confident heading into the final minutes.
A dogfight ensued in the final round, which tested the cardio of Yodnumnchai. But the latter once again passed the exam to pick up the unanimous decision to move to 6-0 in ONE and 66-20 overall.
In the featured bout, Kongklai Sor Sommai managed to put his misfortune behind him and return to the win column with a monumental first-round finish of Deniz Demirkapu in 138-pound catchweight Muay Thai action.
Demirkapu charged the Thai from the first bell, swinging punches and successfully connecting. But Kongklai managed to weather the storm and fire back with strikes of his own on a number of occasions.
However, the Turkish-Moroccan athlete was still in control. And when he thought he had his foe trapped in the corner, Kongklai threw a dynamite left hook that sent Demirkapu down to ground to end the bout at 1:45 of round one. Here is a look at the full results of ONE Lumpinee 80:
