ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs. Nattawut certainly lived up to the hype when the world's largest martial arts organization took over the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on 27 September.
The main event saw ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon destroy #2-ranked featherweight Muay Thai contender "Smokin" Jo Nattawut in under two minutes in their divisional Muay Thai contest.

Superbon came out as stoic as ever, quick to land his typical left hand and counter high kicks. Nattawut offered up his usual aggressive attacks, but it didn't bode well for him against his Thai compatriot.
Nattawut stepped inside and ate a short right elbow that sliced him open. Superbon then delivered another pinpoint elbow that put Nattawut down on the canvas and rendered him unable to answer the referee's count at 1:43 of round one. The win also earned Superbon a US$50,000 performance bonus.
In the co-main event, Kiamran Nabati extended his winning streak to 22-0 as he defeated former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O across three rounds of fast-paced, hard-hitting action.
The Russian pressured Nong-O from the first bell in signature fashion, looking to make a statement. But the Thai great's calculated approach saw him fend off some of Nabati's offense. That said, Nabati's handiwork allowed him to edge ahead after three minutes.
With the feeling process behind them, Nabati got back on the front foot and closed the distance repeatedly. Nong-O began to drive his vintage kicks into the unbeaten Russian's torso, but Nabati once again countered his foe with sheer accuracy.
Across the final three minutes, Nabati was weary of Nong-O late surge and kept inside the pocket and against the ropes to prevent any such incident, picking up the unanimous decision as a result. Here is a look at the full results of ONE Lumpinee 81:
