ONE Championship has enjoyed a fruitful residency at the historic Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, but ONE Friday Fights 81 will be the biggest installment of the promotion's weekly series yet.
The stakes are high in the September 27 headliner, as number two featherweight Muay Thai contender "Smokin" Jo Nattawut puts his scheduled World Title shot on the line against interim featherweight kickboxing divisional king Superbon.

Nattawut is scheduled to challenge ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai in a trilogy match at ONE 169: Atlanta just six weeks on from ONE Friday Fights 81.
Never one to sit idle, the 34-year-old has taken up the challenge against Superbon, who is also desperate to avenge his own defeat at the hands of Tawanchai at ONE Friday Fights 46 this past December.
In the co-main event, former long-time ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion Nong-O Hama's climb back to the top of the mountain continues. This time out, the resurgent 37-year-old faces undefeated Russian phenom Kiamran Nabati.
Nong-O rebounded from a pair of defeats that ended his four-year World Title reign with an impressive unanimous decision win over dangerous fellow Thai Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai this past April.
Nabati, for his part, has made a scintillating start to life in ONE. The 29-year-old has won all three of his fights under the bright lights, taking his overall professional mark to an unblemished 21-0.
Another victory would put the third-ranked Nong-O right back in the hunt for a shot at newly minted divisional ruler Superlek Kiatmoo9, while Nabati will be eyeing an assault on the top five by toppling a legend.
