The 87th episode of ONE Friday Fights went down at Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium in what was another round of high-octane combat sports action across three fighting disciplines, as more athletes looked to earn the coveted US$100,000 contract with ONE Championship.
The main event saw a blistering strawweight Muay Thai affair as Kongchai Chanaidonmueang handed Chokpreecha PK Saenchai his first loss of the weekly series after putting on a rollercoaster ride across three rounds of action.

Early on, Chokpreecha's knockout power introduced itself to Kongchai as the latter was wobbled by a stern overhand left. The Thai striker was bruised but not beaten as he persevered to see the second frame.
The duo traded combinations in the second round, but Kongchai's range soon became present as it allowed him continuously plant elbows and knees on the head and body of his compatriot.
With everything up in the air, Kongchai went back to the well with more long strikes and kicks to the body to dictate the final round and earn the unanimous decision.
In the featured bout of evening, Kendu Irving kept his momentum rolling as he showcased his striking skills in a three-round clinic against China's Miao Aoqi in bantamweight Muay Thai.
The American's short elbow strikes quickly became the story of the fight. Irving repeatedly and relentlessly unleashed them upon Miao. But none came sharper or heavier than the one which downed his foe inside the clinch in the opening round.
Miao managed to make it to the second stanza. But Irving's elbows and body kicks in close proximity allowed him to remain comfortably ahead in the bout, stumping the Chinese striker at every turn.
The final minutes were simply routine for the 24-year-old. Irving glistened brighter with every short elbow thrown in the pocket as he comfortably secured the unanimous decision to go 2-0 in ONE.
