ONE Friday Fights 89 delivered highlight-reel action inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium on 29 November, as 22 combatants across Muay Thai, kickboxing, and MMA went to war for a spot on ONE Championship's global roster.
The main event of the evening saw Yod-IQ Or Pimolsri earn his fifth win in a row with a split-decision victory over Kirill Khomutov in their razor-close bantamweight Muay Thai showdown.

Khomutov came out swinging at Yod-IQ early on. That forced the Thai star to respond with plenty of push kicks to settle into the bout. From there, he edged ahead with the crisper punches and kicks.
The Russian continued to pursue Yod-IQ, but the 21-year-old managed to land the better counter punches to stay out of reach. Khomutov did eventually find success inside the pocket, using his slicing elbows to make his way back into the battle.
With the bout close, the knockout artist went for Yod-IQ's head. But the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym striker stayed on the outside and picked at Khomutov with heavier strikes that allowed him to take home the split-decision.
In the featured bout of the night, Thailand's Khunsuek Superbon Training Camp responded to his recent defeat with a three-round clinic over Iran's Mohammad Siasarani in featherweight Muay Thai action.
The Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion was in his element as he found a home for high kicks in the first round. And it wasn't long before he dropped Siasarani with a well-timed boot to the head.
With his groove in full flow, Khunsuek threw more heavy kicks in the second stanza that kept the Iranian weary before cutting him open with a short elbow inside the clinch.
Siasarani pressed the Thai striker in the third round, hunting for a silencer of his own, but Khunsuek remained elusive to land multiple clean combinations, taking home the unanimous decision and returning to winning ways.
