Newly crowned ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Champion Regian "The Immortal" Eersel is running it back with Sinsamut Klinmee for his first World Title defense in "the art of eight limbs."
Eersel, who also holds the ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Title, defeated the Thai sensation for the inaugural belt late last year by split decision, and they will rematch in main event of ONE Friday Fights 9 at the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on Friday, March 17.
The event will air live from Bangkok, Thailand, and feature a plethora of Muay Thai superstars, making this the biggest card at Lumpinee in years.
In the co-main event, Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai goes to war with "Elbow Zombie" Muangthai PK Saenchai. The two have contrasting styles, with Kulabdam favoring punches and Muangthai known for his elbows, which should make for a spectacular fight.
Plus, former two-sport ONE World Champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao returns to the promotion to face debuting Irish rising star Ryan Sheehan. The latter is a WBC Muay Thai World Champion who could make a powerful statement by defeating the Thai legend in his ONE debut.
