ONE Friday Fights 94 lived up to the billing and then some when the hottest series in combat sports returned to Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium on January 17 live in Asia primetime.
The main event saw 19-year-old phenom Akif Guluzada brutalize Thailand's Puengluang Baanramba to earn the coveted US$100,000 main roster contract with ONE Championship in their flyweight Muay Thai outing.

"King" quickly pressed his Thai counterpart, thwarting him with aggressive leg kicks and left hooks that tagged Puengluang at will, and that left him wondering what his next move would be.
Puengluang attempted to catch Guluzada off guard at the start of round two. But as the Thai star threw a kick, the Azerbaijan phenom threw an incredible spinning back elbow at 1:17 of round two that put Puengluang to sleep before he even hit that ground.
Elsewhere, Pentor SP Kansart Paeminburi showed new depth to his range of skill as he ended England's Otis Waghorn with a huge third-round head kick in 143-pound catchweight Muay Thai to win his third straight outing in ONE Championship.
Early on, Waghorn took control of the contest. Following a recent defeat, the Brit wanted to show his true colors as he landed crisp strikes while Pentor retreated in order to navigate the deadly waters.
The Thai star found his feet in the second frame. He began to land cleaner punches, mixing it up with multiple head kicks and leg kicks that quickly began to make his English foe think twice before stepping inside the pocket.
With it all to play for in the third round, Waghorn telegraphed a spinning elbow attack that Pentor was able to dodge. The Paeminburi product countered with a huge left high-kick, flooring Waghorn to score the KO win at 2:03 of the final frame. Here is a look at the full ONE Lumpinee 94 final results:
