ONE Night Fight 32: Nakrob Fairtex Gears Up for Explosive Clash Against Jaosuayai

Nakrob Fairtex, whose name fittingly translates to "warrior" in Thai, is set to prove his mettle once again in a high-stakes flyweight Muay Thai showdown at ONE Fight Night 32. The 26-year-old knockout artist will face his fellow Thai striker Jaosuayai Mor Krungthepthonburi in the co-main event of the evening.

Having begun his Muay Thai training at just six years old, Nakrob has risen to become one of the most formidable names in the sport. After dominating the circuit with precision and power, he made waves in ONE Friday Fights with an incredible run that included ten wins and a sensational finish over Russian Tagir Khalilov.

That performance earned him a lucrative US$100,000 contract, cementing his place among the elite.

Now ranked #5 in the flyweight division, Nakrob is preparing for what could be one of his toughest challenges yet. His opponent Jaosuayai brings a strong 7-2 record and is on a four-fight win streak. Despite his confidence, Nakrob is well aware of his rival's capabilities.

"Jaosuayai is a really good fighter. He's got sharp weapons and quick footwork. He's improved a lot since his debut fight. His strength is his sharp and fast punches. As for his weaknesses, I gotta admit, I can barely see any," Nakrob admitted.

The Fairtex star plans to bring his trademark power into the ring. Known for his heavy-handed style, Nakrob is banking on his ability to land damaging strikes.

"I've prepared big shots for every round, like always. My secret weapon would probably be the power behind my strikes. I'm confident I can land heavier shots. But when it comes to speed, I gotta give it to Jaosuayai," he explained.

While Jaosuayai has built a reputation for resilience and sharp technique, Nakrob predicts a hard-hitting affair that may not last all three rounds.

"I can tell you right now, this fight's gonna be intense. There's a good chance it won't go the distance. But I can't predict exactly when it's gonna finish. You'll have to wait and see in the ring!" he added.

The headline bout of ONE Fight Night 32 features a thrilling Atomweight Muay Thai World Title clash, with reigning champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues defending against Israel's rising star Shir Cohen.

Indian fans can catch the live broadcast of ONE Fight Night 32 on JioHotstar and Star Sports Select 2 at 6:30 a.m. IST on 7 June.
