Orissa, West Bangal in semis

Rourkela, May 7 (UNI) Orissa and West Bengal sailed into the semi-finals of the 15th Women's Senior National Football Championship, defeating Chhattishgarh and Tamil-nadu respectively at the Ispat stadium here today.

Orissa by virtue of their second win in the quarter final matches entered into the semi-finals. Pinki Mager scored the maximum four goals for Orissa but Suprava, who netted one goal, was adjudged the best player of the match.

For Chhattishgarh, Jyoti Patel scored the only goal in the 27th minutes.

In other match, West Bengal also entered the last four, defeating Tamil-nadu 4-0. Rinku Ghosh, who scored three goals in the first half in 15th, 19th and 37th minutes, was adjudged the best player of the match.

Papa Sarkar netted the fourth goal for West Bengal.

West Bengal will take on Orissa in the semi-finals on May 9 UNI XC DP SJC PDS RK2013
