P Nirmala wins Public Sector Carrom women's title

Bangalore, Apr 18 (UNI) Veteran star P Nirmala of the Life Insurance Corporation of India defeated teammate S Apporva 25-22, 25-0 to win the women's singles title in the All India Public Sector Carrom Tournament, played at KSBA hall here today.

In the women's doubles final, Nirmala partnering Apoorva rallied back to beat Rashmi Kumar and Anita Nayak of BSNL 7-25, 25-3, 25-13.
