Pakistan held by Malaysia 2-2, Korea down Canada 1-0

Ipoh, Malaysia, May 5 (UNI) Pakistan were held to a 2-2 draw by a spirited Malaysia while South Korea notched up a solitary goal victory over Canada in the Group B matches of the 16th Azlan Shah hockey tournament here today.

The hosts scored in the seventh and 29th minutes through Zulkifli Rejab and Ismail Abu respectively while Ullah Ehsan and Imran Warsi replied for Pakistan in the 13th and 42nd minutes in a thrilling match.

Earlier, Asian Games champions South Korea rode on the 44th minute penalty corner conversion by Jeong Yun-sang to garner full points against unfancied Canada.
