Pakistan rally after Ntini, Kallis strike
CAPE TOWN, Jan 26 (Reuters) Pacemen Makhaya Ntini and Jacques Kallis grabbed four wickets each to earn South Africa the early advantage on day one of the deciding third test against Pakistan today.
However, the visitors fought back, reducing South Africa to 131 for five at stumps after Pakistan were dismissed for 157. South African skipper Graeme Smith scored 64.
Ntini took four for 44 and Kallis claimed four for 42 after Pakistan were put in to bat on a pitch that offered bounce and movement off the seam, ending the innings off the last ball before tea.
Mohammad Yousuf's 83 was the lone worthy batting performance for Pakistan.
