New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) Unlike their previous visits, the Pakistan Cricket team arrived here this evening to a sedate welcome.
The reception for the team and the security around it lacked the intensity which was witnessed in their two previous tours.
The 15-member squad, led by Shoaib Malik, landed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport at around 16.30 hours and after a formal but brief reception ceremony, the players wearing green blazers, boarded the team bus for a city hotel, escorted by two pilot cars.
Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) Sports Secretary Sunil Dev who was there at the airport to welcome the team, presented a bouquet to the Pakistani skipper.
A group of students from Pakistan Embassy were also there to greet the players. The Students were wearing ''Go Pakistan'' caps and were accompanied by Embassy officials.
