Pakistan X1, FC NANIA, Ghana match ends in draw

Kannur, Apr 12 (UNI) Pakistan X1, FC NANIA, Ghana match in the league of the Nayanar Memorial Gold Cup international football tournament ended in a goalless draw here today.

With the match ending in a draw, FC NANIA entered the semifinals with seven points from Group-A.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's scope for the semifinal berth depend on tomorrow's match against Vasco, Goa.

SBT had secured four points from their all league matches.

In today's match Pakistan striker and national player Muhammed Essa did not play due to illness.

Though chances were plenty for the players of both the sides to score, they failed to deliver at right times.

In the first half, Pakistan's Muhammed Kasim ruined a golden chance from inside the penality box.

Similarly, Ghana's A B Lawrence missed a chance as his kick went off the direction, hitting the goal post.
