Panjab Univ men are inter university rowing champs

Chandigarh, Dec 16 (UNI) Hosts Panjab University emerged champions in the men's category with 26 points in the All-Inida Inter-University Rowing Championship at the Sukhna Lake water channel here today.

Kerala University and Punjabi University, Patiala were declared joint runners-up with 16 points each. The Third spot was shared by Pune and Madras Universities with four points apiece.

Punjabi University claimed the trophy in the womens section by logging 22 points. Kerala University, Madras University, and Guru Nanak Dev Universit, Amritsar finished second, third and fourth with 20, 14 and 10 points respectively.
