Crasto/Ponnappa are third in the Group C. The challenge only gets tougher as they face fourth seed Japanese duo of Nami Matsumaya andChiharu Shida on July 30 morning (Tuesdsay)
Ashiwni Ponnappa and Tanisha Crasto go down in straight games to top-10 ranking Korean pair ofKong Hee-yong/Kim So-yeong 18-21, 10-21.

Following the recurve archery teams' successful advancement to the quarterfinals on July 25, Indian sports enthusiasts have much to look forward to.
The day begins with rowing, where Balraj Panwar will compete in the men's singles sculls heats at 12:30 PM IST. Concurrently, the shooting events will start with the 10m air rifle mixed team qualification. Indian pairs Elavenil Valarivan & Sandeep Singh, and Arjun Babuta & Ramita Jindal, will aim to qualify for the medal rounds scheduled for later in the day. Their progress will be crucial as it sets the tone for India’s medal prospects in shooting.
The afternoon sees more shooting excitement with Sarabjot Singh and Arjun Singh Cheema competing in the men's 10m air pistol qualification at 2 PM IST.
