While all the major Indian actions are done for the day, two Indians are still competing as we talk in sailors Nethra Kumanan and Vishnu Saravanan in women's and men's Dinghy respectively.

With one race still to go before the top 10 qualifications for the medal race, Nethra is currently 21st on the overall ranking after finishing 10th in her Race 9 while the men's the last two Men's Dinghy Races are yet to begin. They will only take place Women's Race 10 is over

Avinash Sable qualifies for final!

Spot on with his strategy! Avinash Sable is through to the medal round as he finishes among top 5! Towards the final stage of the race he puts a gap between him and rest of the field outside top 5. The decision to set the pace of the race did him so much good as the rest of the pack had no legs or stamina left to sprint and challenge him!

It's now down to the final where he will face the big names such as El Bakkali (best in the business), Lamecha Girma (the world record holder) and other African runners who always show up at Olympics!

2000m of the race is done and Avinash has dropped places to third. However, I will stress again, the position you have doesn't matter at this point in the race. Important is to stay with the leading pack throughout the race and have the legs to accelerate in the final stages if you want to beat the best of Africa! However, today Avinash only needs to finish in top 5 and qualify for final!

Nisha Dahiya loses to her rival Pak Sol Gum as she decides to fight till the end even with all that pain. She could have walked off the match citing injury and nobody would have said anything. But she decided to fight till the last and loses the bout through a takedown by the North Korean teenager.

No point in blaming Pak Sol Gum, who had to make the most out of her struggling opponent but the question is was she at fault for hurting Nisha?
