Making his Olympic debut, Kusale's achievement in the qualification round is noteworthy. He showcased incredible precision and composure under pressure, a testament to his rigorous training and dedication.

Securing a place in the final amidst such intense competition is no small feat and speaks volumes about his skills and determination.

Kusale will face tough competition in the final, including Liu Yukun from China, who set a new Qualification Olympic Record with a score of 594-38x. Yukun also equalled the Qualification World Record last month in Munich, highlighting the high level of competition Kusale will encounter. Despite the challenge, Kusale's journey to the final is a testament to his hard work and resilience.

The men's 50m rifle 3-position event is a true test of skill and endurance. Competitors must shoot 15 shots in each of the kneeling, prone, and standing positions. The event demands precision and speed, with specific time limits: 200 seconds for each series in kneeling, 150 seconds for prone, and 250 seconds for standing.

The final round intensifies as the two lowest-ranking shooters are eliminated after the first 10 shots in the standing position. The competition then proceeds with single shots, each within a 50-second timeframe, eliminating the lowest-ranking athlete after each shot until only two shooters remain to vie for the gold medal.
