Sarabjot's contribution with a solid 95 in the first series and an improved 97 in the second was crucial in ensuring their top-four finish. The pair posted a combined score of 193 in the first series and improved to 195 in the second series and 192 in the third series showcasing their ability to perform under pressure.

In contrast, the second Indian team comprising Rhythm Sangwan and Arjun Singh Cheema ended their qualification journey in the 10th position with a total score of 576-14x. Despite a strong start with a combined 194 in the first series, their performance dipped slightly in the second series, which impacted their overall standing.

Sangwan posted a 97 in the first series and an impressive 99 in the second series, but Cheema's scores of 97 and 92 were not enough to keep them in contention for the medal rounds.

The qualification rounds witnessed competitive shooting with the following top-four teams advancing. Turkey, represented by Sevval Ilayda Tarhan and Yusuf Dikec secured the top spot with a score of 582-18x.

Serbia, represented by Zorana Arunovic and Damir Mikec, ranked second with 581-24x. India (Bhaker-Sarabjot), finishing third and entering the bronze medal match, and South Korea, fourth place, contending with India for bronze.

The format of the competition is straightforward: the top four teams from the qualification rounds move on to the medal matches. The top two teams fight for gold, while the third and fourth-placed teams compete for bronze, making each point in the qualification rounds crucial.

This event marks a significant moment for Indian shooting, especially for Manu Bhaker, who is coming off a historic win as the first Indian female shooter to secure a medal at a Summer Games.
