Peephole vid' scandal ESPN host Andrews lands 'Dancing With Stars' job

New York, March 3 (ANI): Sports journalist Erin Andrews is set to show her dancing skills as she appears on the highly popular reality TV show 'Dancing With the Stars'.

The 31-year-old ESPN commentator hit the headlines last year when she became the victim of a video camera hidden in her hotel room.

The "peephole video", as it was dubbed, showed Andrews in her room in various states of undress.

Later when Andrews appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" she said the incident was a "nightmare". She said numerous reporters camped outside her house after news of the video became public.

"I did nothing wrong, and I'm being treated like . . . Britney Spears," the New York Daily News quoted her, as saying in a 911 call at the time.

But looks like Andrews had already made up her mind to appear on "Dancing With the Stars" long before there was any peephole video.

Taking about "DWTS" she told Dan Steinberg for The Sporting Blog: I want to do it, because I think I'd be good at it.

"That's the big push...I would love it love it love it. I want to be like, 'Who do I call? Let's do this.' " (ANI)
