Players satisfied with fourth MWG

By Staff

Hyderabad, Oct 20: Players from over 100 nations are happy with the arrangements and organisation of the 4th Military World Games here, Minister of State for Defence Pallam Raju said today.

"International players from over 100 countries are happy with the arrangements and organisational abilities of India. We got the feedback from all the continents saying they are happy and it was on the record that Hyderabad games are better organised than the three previous editions in Europe," he told mediapersons.

He further said, "Many milestones have been achieved in the sporting arena where records were broken in the individual games, while better performances were put up in the team disciplines." He also added, "We have created more infrastructure for the games to help state players in future. We spent about Rs 30 crores on the infrastructure and Rs 60 crores on the organisation of the meet." He also hoped that Hyderabad would become venue for more and more international events in the future.
