Posh 'slaps chocolate ban on chubby Becks'

London, May 09 (ANI): Victoria Beckham has banned her 'chubby' footballer husband David Beckham from eating chocolate treats, say sources.

Since his injury, the footie star has been eating his favourite treats and piling on the pounds, reports The Daily Star.

Seeing his expanded size, Victoria has banned his imported British pies and fast foods including LA's In-N-Out Burgers and Chinese takeaways.

A pal said: "Even their three sons are laying off the snacks at home to help their dad get back in physical shape.

"He's normally such an intense trainer that he's always been pretty much able to eat what he likes then burn off the excess calories the following day.

"But with the frustration and disappointment of missing the World Cup and his inability to train at all, he's been wolfing down every goodie in sight - and it shows.

"He really freaked out when he saw himself in a full-length mirror and pleaded with Victoria to help.

"Posh had made him promise he wouldn't pig out and, so far, she is proud of the way he's responded.

"He is sticking to a high protein diet of lean meat and fish. But she's watching him like a hawk for the slightest slip." (ANI)
