Prakash crashes out of Aptos challenger

Aptos, United States, Jul 19 (UNI) Prakash Amritraj's brilliant run at the USD 75,000 ATP Challenger tournament here came to a halt after he lost to Andrea Stoppini in the quarter-final.

The Indian Davis Cupper started with a bang but the Italian recovered from a set down to win 6-7 (2), 7-5, 6-4.

The Indian had earlier bowed out of the doubles event along with American partner Lestor Cook after going down in the quarter-final.
