Prasad's objection to logo falls on deaf ears

Bangalore, Dec 6 (UNI) Team India bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad's objection to painting sponsors' logo on the turf was ignored by the officials concerned.

Prasad, who arrived at the ground just before the team's net practice, took objection to painting a huge logo on the turf stating that it would affect pace bowlers' run-up.

His plea fell on deaf ears as the official supervising the work did not listen to him and continued with the painting of the turf.

Later, the Indian pacers were seen practising on the turf with undried paint on it.
