Pune FC trounce Indian Arrows

Pune, Feb 5 (PTI) Three second half goals, including abrace by Brazilian Edmar Figueira helped hosts Pune FC trounceDelhi-based Indian Arrows 3-0 in the round 13 I League matchat the Balewadi Sports Complex here this evening.

After the first half failed to yield any goal, Pune FCpenetrated into their rivals citadel thrice in 15 minutes asIndian Arrows, earlier known as AIFF XI, lost the plotcompletely on the other side of the break.

Pune FC''s Japanese talisman Arata Izumi broke thedeadlock in the 63rd minute after which Figueira scored twicein the 71st and 78th minute to help the hosts register theirthird win of this I-League season.

With this win Pune FC now have 14 points from 13matches, while the visitors have 13 points from as many games.
