Rahul Solani to represent India in Tenpin Bowling World Cup

Chennai, Nov 8 (UNI) Tenpin Bowling Federation of India has picked Rahul Solanki to represent India at the 44th Qubica AMF Bowling World Cup to be held in Mexico from November 9-15.

According to a press release from Federation President Karti P Chidambaram, 22-ear-old Rahul, a rising talent in this fledgling sport in India, which is gaining popularity in the country, was selected based on his performance at the 20th ABF Asian Tenpin Bowling championships at Bangkok, 20th National Championships held in Bangalore last year and in the recently concluded national championships in Chennai.

''Rahul Solanki, who will be making his debut in the prestigious World Cup competition, deserved this opportunity as he has been showing great potential in the sport. The opportunity to play alongside talented internationals and interaction with coaches would help him a great deal'', Karti said.

Karti headed the selection committee of the Federation, which picked Rahul for the World Cup.
