Railways win both men, women section

Visakhapatnam, Feb 4 (UNI) Indian Railways came first in both the 12 km and four km in men section and eight km and four km in women section of the 41st National Cross Country Championship organised by Visakhapatnam District Amateur Athletic Association at Ukku stadium here today.

While SSCB came second in 12 km and four km in men section, Kerala and Uttarkhand won the eight km and four km in women section respectively.

Results: Men section: 12 km: First place - Indian Railways (14 points) Second- SSCB (25 points) Third - Police (63 points).

Four km: First Place - Indian Railway (11 points) Second-SSCB (41 points) Third- Police (66 points) Women section: Eight km: First place- Indian Railway (10 points) Second- Kerala (55 points) Third- Maharashtra (57 points).

Four km: First place- Indian Railway (10 points) Second- Uttarakhand (37 points) Third - Gujarat (126 points).
