Rain denies Indians practice on second day also

Melbourne, Dec 21 (UNI) Rain played spoilsport to India's hopes of having the much-needed practice as only 10 overs were possible on the second day of the three-day tour match against Victoria at Junction Oval here today.

Before heavy rain stopped play, India added 23 runs for the loss of one wicket in the 10 overs to end the day on 133 for four.

Sourav Ganguly added eight runs to his overnight 51 and was out caught by Blizzard off Allan Wise who had taken all three Indian wickets yesterday.

Ganguly faced 99 balls for his 59 which was studded with nine hits to the fence.

Rahul Dravid was batting on 38, after adding five to his overnight 33 and Yuvraj was giving company on six.
