Rajesh injured in Nationals

Hyderabad, Aug 7 (UNI) Twice Asian Games bronze medalist Rajesh Choudhary kept his lead but was injured in a collision in the fourth race of Laser National Sailing Championships at Hussainsagar Lake here today.

Rajesh, after winning his third race in the morning with ease, was injured in a high speed collision in the fourth race with Patra of EMESA. His leg was tangled in a rope and he fell into the waters and his hips was injured, while Patra's shoulder was also injured.

Rajesh later protested against Patra.

Results: 3rd race: 1 Rajesh Choudhary, AYN, 49.35 min, 2 Major NS Johal, AYN, 49.51 min, 3 Hav Harihara, AYN 52.46min.

4th Race:1 Sub Maj Ramkumar AYN 49.05 min, 2 Maj NS Johal, AYN 50.09 min, 3 Spr Jasvir 50.49 min.
