Rajesh maintains good lead in Laser Nat'l Sailing Championships

Hyderabad, Aug 8 (UNI) Twice bronze medallist in Asian Games Sub Rajesh Choudhary of Army Yachting Nod today maintained a good lead at the end of six races in the Laser National Sailing Championships at Hussain Sagar Lake here.

With heavy winds blowing between 18 to 20 knots and shifting frequently, sailors had a tough time in controlling their boats.

Sailors from Army Yachting Nod, Mumbai, swept the first five places in the fifth and sixth races.

Rajesh Choudhary, after recovering from the injury caused by colliding with Patra's boat yesterday, recovered fully and raced to win in the fifth and sixth races, beating his colleague Major NS Johal in both the races. With five wins in six races, Rajesh Choudhary extended his lead.
