Earlier in October this year, Manavaditya clinched a bronze as Indian shooters dished out an impressive performance by winning seven medals, including two golds, at the ongoing third Asian Shotgun Championship in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

That time, senior Rathore said, "I am impressed and proud that Manav at this very young age is taking on the big guns, he understands that age cannot be a barrier for talent. I can sense the great potential in him. I am equally proud of all juniors and my congrats to the seniors for their able leadership."

Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore is an Indian shooter and politician, whose fame reached peak after winning the Silver Medal in Men's Double Trap at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.
