Ramadan Ondash Overcomes Kongchai At ONE Friday Fights 93

ONE Friday Fights 93 kicked off a huge double-header weekend for the world's largest martial arts organization. Twelve more exciting bouts across Muay Thai and MMA set the stage inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium on 10 January before ONE Fight Night 27: Tang vs. Abdullaev took over the next morning.

The main event saw 18-year-old phenom Ramadan Ondash overcome a huge test in the decorated Kongchai Chanaidonmueang under Muay Thai strawweight rules, securing the unanimous decision after a three-round slugfest in his first headline appearance.

Ondash came out at 100 miles per hour. At first, he carelessly traded punches with his Thai nemesis. Kongchai began to fire back shots of his own, then Ondash settled in and fought smarter in an effort to conserve energy.

In round two, Ondash quickly reverted to his aggressive ways. Kongchai answered back with high kicks and, just as the Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion looked to be taking over, "The Scorpion" sat him down with a looping left hook to close out the frame.
