Rashid in line for back-to-back win

Gurgaon, Sep 18 (UNI) Title contender Rashid Khan carded a flawless 67 to move into the lead at the end of the third round of the LG Golden Greens Amateur Golf here today.

Fresh from his win at the LG Northern India Amateur, Rashid is looking to make it two in a row with a aggregate of three-under 213 after 54 holes.

Overnight leader Abhinav Lohan ran out of steam and finished three over par for the day to end up one shot behind Rashid at two-under par 214 for the tournament.

Rudresh Sharma, who at one point threatened to move into the lead, faltered on the back nine and carded a 73 to be placed at even par 216.

Rashid finished his round in fine fashion making three birdies on the last five holes.

A bogey from Abhinav on the 17th resulted in Rashid finding himself on top of the leaderboard for the first time this week.
