Rashid Khan Wins DLF Inter-Club Caddy Tournament

New Delhi,Aug 22 (UNI) Teenager Rashid Khan shot four over par 76, but that was enough for him to win the 6th DLF Inter-Club Caddy Tournament here today.

Forty Two caddies representing National Capital Region as well as clubs from Chandigarh, Meerut, Jaipur and Kolkata took part in the tournament.

Rashid Khan (16) of Delhi Golf Club (DGC) was followed by Mahesh of the DLF Golf&Country Club who carded 6 over par 78. DGC's Pawan finished third after losing out to Mahesh on the back count.

In the team event, DGC registered a resounding victory with a score of 231. The triumphant team included the winner of the individual event Rashid Khan (76), Pawan Kumar (78) and Rudresh Sharma (79). The DLF Golf&Country Club team comprising of Mahesh, Santosh and Shyam Lal secured second place with a score of 242. The Army Golf Course team carded a score of 249 to grab third place.

UNI
