New Delhi, Aug 4: Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (OC) chairman Suresh Kalmadi told that he is ready to face any investigation into financial transactions related to 2010 Commonwealth Games.
On Tuesday Aug 3 Kalmadi set up a three-member panel to investigate allegations of corruption in the preparations of 2010 Commonwealth Games.
British tax authorities, on Jul 30, asked the Enforcement Directorate to investigate the money transfer from the Commonwealth Games Organizing Committee to AM Films UK Ltd.
Kalmadi, citing an e-mail, claimed that the AM Films was recommended by the High Commission in London. But High Commission denied the recommendation of the firm.
Kalmadi told that he is ready to face Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) or judicial probe.
