Record entries for national roller skating meet

Visakhapatnam, Jan 28 (UNI) A record number of about 1200 skaters from 16 states would be vying for honours in the 45th roller skating national championships, being held here from today, according to the organising committee.

Besides road races, speed rink and roller Hockey, artistic events would be held at the Mahatma Gandhi International Rink.

In the previous edition held in Kolkata, Andhra Pradesh had claimed the artistic event team title while Karnataka were overall champions.
