Angel Reese is focused on reducing her turnovers following the Chicago Sky's recent loss to the Minnesota Lynx. In a much-anticipated game against Napheesa Collier, Collier excelled with 29 points and five assists, leading the Lynx to a 91-78 win. Reese contributed 22 points, shooting 64% from the field, and secured 10 rebounds but also committed five turnovers.
Reese has accumulated 80 turnovers this season, more than any other player in the WNBA. Despite having a significant role in Chicago's offence this season, she is unhappy with her turnover rate. "For me, five turnovers, I got to get that down, got to get that together. That's unacceptable," said Reese. "And I just really have to be better."

The forward expressed her determination to improve her performance by saying, "I think tonight, I needed to do a better job kicking [the ball] out and not turning the ball over. I'm definitely gonna beat myself up about this one because I definitely turned the ball over way too many times. Again."
Reese aims to maintain composure and contribute significantly to her team-mates' success. She acknowledges their reliance on her performance and strives to deliver consistently strong plays. "I just want to stay poised, try to give my team-mates as much as I can," she stated.
Understanding that opponents often collapse when she drives towards the basket, Reese recognises the importance of passing effectively to open three-point shooters. She admitted needing improvement in distributing the ball efficiently during such situations.
The Chicago Sky currently hold a record of 7-14 this season, placing them tenth in the league standings. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Lynx lead with an impressive record of 19-4 after their recent victory.
