Striking superstar Regian Eersel became a two-sport ONE World Champion once again when he regained the lightweight kickboxing throne in his rematch with previously unbeaten powerhouse Alexis Nicolas at ONE Fight Night 25 this past weekend.
"The Immortal" outstruck former king Nicolas across dominant five rounds to earn the unanimous decision win in their main event clash on Saturday, 5 October, inside Bangkok, Thailand's Lumpinee Stadium.

Eersel had his 22-fight winning streak ended by the Frenchman when they clashed for the coveted World Title at ONE Fight Night 21 in April, making his win all the sweeter this time around.
"Yes, of course, especially the French fans. I got a lot of messages saying that I was going to sleep. But that only added fuel to the fire. It only motivated me, and you saw the result," he said.
"Alexis is a challenging opponent because of his fighting style," he said. "He's very quick. His fighting style is unique, but you saw I found the key to beat him."
Having settled the score with Nicolas and reclaimed the lightweight kickboxing strap, which he adds to the ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Title he holds, "The Immortal" now feels ready to kickstart his run of success again.
Next in line for him is a return to Muay Thai, where he wants to cement his dominance after securing the inaugural lightweight World Title in 2022 and defending it twice the following year.
"I hope my next fight will be in Muay Thai because the position is waiting for me," Eersel stated. "It took a long time to defend my Muay Thai belt, so I think it's now time."
