Rhyne Howard's remarkable performance led the Atlanta Dream to an 88-70 victory over the Chicago Sky. Howard set a new career-high with nine 3-pointers, scoring a season-high 36 points. This achievement broke Renee Montgomery's franchise record of eight 3-pointers set in 2018. Brittney Griner also made history by moving into second place on the WNBA career blocks list.
Griner achieved this milestone by blocking Elizabeth Williams' shot in the third quarter, tying Lisa Leslie's record of 822 blocks. She then added another block in the fourth quarter, surpassing Leslie and trailing only Margo Dydek's record of 877 blocks. Howard, who didn't score in the first quarter, contributed significantly in the third with 11 points, helping Atlanta secure a lead.

The Dream extended their lead to seven points when Howard hit a jumper at the end of the third quarter and started the fourth with a successful 3-pointer. She further increased the lead to double digits with another 3-pointer, making it 66-56 with just over eight minutes left. Allisha Gray supported Atlanta with 15 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.
Brionna Jones added to Atlanta's success with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Jordin Canada contributed 12 points and eight assists. For Chicago, Kamilla Cardoso led with 15 points and nine rebounds, while Angel Reese added another solid performance with 12 points and nine boards.
In another game, Jackie Young's stellar performance helped Las Vegas Aces secure an 88-84 win against Dallas Wings. Young scored 28 points and was perfect from the free-throw line during a decisive game-ending run. Jewell Loyd added crucial support with a go-ahead three-pointer late in the game.
Chelsea Gray contributed significantly for Las Vegas despite missing MVP Aja Wilson due to concussion protocol. Wilson averages nearly 21 points per game but was sidelined after an injury earlier in the week. Arike Ogunbowale led Dallas with an impressive performance scoring 26 points.
Paige Bueckers continued her strong comeback for Dallas by adding another solid game with 16 points after missing four games previously. DiJonai Carrington scored 15 points while Luisa Geiselsoder added another dimension to their attack with her contribution of 13 points.
The Wings had a chance to close in on Las Vegas when Geiselsoder scored late in the game making it an eleven-point difference. However, they failed to score again until Bueckers' free throws brought them within two points near game's end. Young sealed Las Vegas' victory by converting two more free throws.
