Rio to Tokyo: Sangram Singh, Sakshi Malik to encourage women's participation in sports

New Delhi, Dec 16: DD Sports is going to organise a panel discussion series titled 'Rio to Tokyo' to encourage participation of female athletes in various field of sports.

A special show as part of the series is being hosted by star wrestler Sangram Singh at Haryana's MD University Rohtak on Dec 19, 2016.

The special show which will begin from Rohtak will also include Rio Olympics 2016 bronze medallist Sakshi Malik.

The star wrestler, Sakshi, from Rohtak will give special message to the youth of entire country on how sports is a vehicle for women empowerment.

With Sangram Singh's mass appeal and stature in the Indian sporting fraternity the intended message of women's participation in the field of sport across the country.
