UFC on Friday (December 15) announced that the finals for Road To UFC Season 2 will be held on February 3, 2024, following UFC Vegas 85: Dolidze vs Imavov event at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

Road To UFC is a ground-breaking "win and advance" tournament for Asia's top MMA prospects. In the first season, Anshul Jubli of India, Jeong Yeong Lee of South Korea, Rinya Nakamura of Japan, and Hyun Sung Park of South Korea bagged contracts following wins in their respective divisions.

Additionally, three more Road To UFC participants were signed: finalist Jeka Saragih of Indonesia, finalist Toshiomi Kazama of Japan, and non-tournament bout winner Zhang Mingyang.

Road To UFC Season 2 again featured four weight divisions: flyweight, bantamweight, featherweight and lightweight with the opening round taking place on May 27 and 28 earlier this year at the UFC Performance Institute Shanghai.

Meanwhile, the semifinals took place following UFC Fight Night: Holloway vs. The Korean Zombie at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore on August 27. The following eight semifinalists have advanced to the finals:

Flyweight Final: 22-year old dedicated finisher Jiniushiyue "Little King Kong" (13-2, fighting out of Sichuan, China) faces decorated national wrestler 21-year old Rei Tsuruya (8-0, fighting out of Chiba, Japan).

Bantamweight Final: Experienced, aggressive striker Xiao Long (26-7, fighting out of Hunan, China) faces well-rounded grinder Chang Ho Lee (9-1, fighting out of Goyang, South Korea).

Featherweight Final: Iconic aggressive striker Kaiwen (12-5, fighting out of Hunan, China) faces seasoned, intelligent tactician Yizha (24-4, fighting out of Sichuan, China).

Lightweight Final: Former UFC athlete and strong finisher Rongzhu (24-5, fighting out of Sichuan, China) faces power wrestler Shin Haraguchi (7-0-1NC, fighting out of Kagoshima, Japan).

Following the conclusion of the finals for Road To UFC Season 2, the four winners will be awarded UFC contracts, while the other contestants may also get a chance of landing deals like season 1.

Road To UFC Season 2 Finals Broadcast Information

The RTU Season 2 Finale will will air live at 11:30 PM ET / 8:30 PM PT on UFC Fight Pass from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas on Saturday, February 3, following the broadcast of UFC Fight Night: Dolidze vs. Imavov.

In India, Sony Sports TEN 2 channel will broadcast the finale from 10 AM IST on Sunday, February 4, 2024 right after the broadcast for UFC Vegas 85 ends with the live streaming of RTU Season 2 available on Sony LIV. Expect updates closer to the event.
