The Road To UFC Season 2 opening round concluded with episodes 3 and 4 on Sunday (May 28) at the UFC Performance Institute Shanghai with 16 fighters from Asia advancing to the next round.
Unfortunately, the Indian duo of Rana Rudra Pratap Singh and Sumit Kumar bowed out of their respective weight division tournaments in the opening round in Shanghai.

While Kumar lost by decision in the flyweight bout, Singh lost via stoppage in a bantamweight bout. Both the Indian MMA athletes lost to South Korean opponents.
