India's Kiru Singh Sahota aims for a finish when he meets China's Yin Shuai in the Road To UFC Season 3 opening round this weekend at the UFC Performance Institute (UFC PI) in Shanghai, China.
Kiru Singh Sahota will be among 40 of Asia's most talented MMA prospects that will look to begin a journey that could make a dream come true of landing a contract with the UFC after three rounds of tournament action.

The Indian-born fighter, who is fighting out of Manchester, England, has had some good preparation heading into the flyweight tournament opener thanks to his recent fights being cancelled.
"It's been a very good camp. It's like I've almost had three camps because I've had two opponent pullouts, so all the efforts gone into this fight," Kiru Singh Sahota told MyKhel in an all-India exclusive interview organised by Sony Sports.
Kiru Singh Sahota's last professional fight came back in July 2023. While there may be some rustiness for any athlete to compete after a long gap, Sahota has warded off concerns, stating the sparring at the gym is equally good as a fight.
"No, because in the gym we push each other so much while sparring and if anything, I just want this, I've been itching to get into the cage," Sahota added.
The 28-year-old acknowledged his opponents ability to strike a bit and like to grapple, but felt his height and reach could be an advantage when facing Yin Shuai on Sunday (May 19).
"Yeah, I don't think he's going to be able to come close to me. Ever since I've got here people have been saying to me, you're so tall, you're so big for the weight class. I use my attributes to the best of my abilities," Sahota said.
Kiru Singh Sahota holds a proffessional record of 10-2 with 8 of his wins coming via stoppages - 6 KO/TKO and 2 submission to be precise. So, the Indian represent believes even his next fight will end in a stoppage.
"You know I'm looking for the finish again. I'm not in boring fights. My style is to get the finishes as you say, with my record with the fights being such high finish rates," Sahota concluded.
Kiru Singh Sahota is one of four Indian MMA athletes who will be beginning their journey to land a UFC contract via the Road To UFC Season 3 tournament, starting with the opening round this weekend.
An Indian MMA Pro Athlete, Kiru Singh Sahota started his pro career in 2018 and has competed across Risk Fight League, Combat Challenge, Caged Steel MMA, Cage Warriors and his latest being an appearance in BMF MMA.
