The semifinals round for Road To UFC Season 3, featuring the flyweight, bantamweight, featherweight and women's strawweight categories, will take place at the UFC APEX Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 24.
Road To UFC is a ground-breaking "win and advance" tournament that gives top MMA prospects from Asia a pathway to a UFC contract. Earlier in the quarterfinals, 16 fighters from across Asia progressed to the next round.

The tournament will now continue with the four weight classes with eight fighters competing in each, as well as a non-tournament bout that provide UFC matchmakers the opportunity to further evaluate talent.
14 Road To UFC participants have been awarded UFC contracts so far: seven from Season 1 including one from India; six from Season 2; and one from the opening round of Season 3. Here is a look at the MMA athletes who landed UFC deals:
Wang Cong became the first participant from Road To UFC Season 3 to be signed to UFC with her impressive performance in a non-tournament women's flyweight bout, defeating Paula Luna by first round submission.
Wang Cong will make her UFC debut the day after the Season 3 semifinals when she faces Victoria Leonardo at UFC Fight Night or UFC Vegas 96 which will also be held on Sunday, August 25.
Road To UFC Season 3 launched with the opening round on May 18 and 19, at the UFC Performance Institute (UFC PI) in Shanghai, China. In the tournament, there were 32 mixed martial arts athletes competing in four weight classes: flyweight, bantamweight, featherweight and women's strawweight.
The participants came from China, India, Japan, Korea, and the Philippines, and 16 have advanced to the semifinals. The semifinals round is divided into two episodes that continue the Road To UFC Season 3 series
Each episode will include four tournament bouts and one additional non-tournament bout. Episode 5 will be broadcast live in India at 6:30 AM IST (Indian Standard Time) on Saturday, August 24, and Episode 6 will start at 8:30 AM IST.
In India, Sony Sports Network holds the broadcast rights for UFC. So, the Road To UFC Season 3 semi-final featuring India's Angad Bisht is likely to be shown on Sony Sports TEN 2 (English), Sony Sports TEN 3 (Hindi) and Sony Sports TEN 4 (Tamil/Telugu).
Meanwhile, Road To UFC Season 3 semi-final live streaming will be available on Sony LIV app and website with a subscription package in India. The event will also be streamed live via UFC Fight Pass internationally.
At flyweight, India's Angad Bisht goes up against Korean Dong Hun Choi, while Great Britain's Kiru Singh Sahota will take on Philippines' Ruel Panales. The winner of the semi-final bouts will face each other in the final later this year or at the start of 2025.
At bantamweight, Korea's SooYoung You faces Daermisi Zhawupasi of China, while Japan's Tokitaka Nakanishi tackles China's Jieleyisi Baergeng. At featherweight, Japan's Shin Haraguchi takes on China's Zhu Kangjie, while another Japanese in Masuto Kawana faces another Chinese in Xie Bin.
At women's strawweight, China's Feng Xiaocan meets Japans Miki Motono, while Dong Huaxiang and Shi Ming lock horns in all-Chinese semi-final affair. In the lone non-tournament bout, China's Yan Qihui faces Danni McCormack in women's flyweight action. Here is the card:
The finals will be featured bouts on a UFC Fight Night event later this year or start of next year, when UFC contracts will be awarded to each of the four divisions' winners.
