Japanese kickboxing legend Takeru Segawa will get his chance to avenge his most devastating defeat when he faces Thai megastar Rodtang Jitmuangnon for the ONE Interim Flyweight Kickboxing World Title at ONE Samurai 1 on Wednesday, 29 April, inside Tokyo's Ariake Arena.

The five-round super-fight serves as Takeru's retirement bout, providing the 34-year-old three-division K-1 Champion an opportunity to close his legendary career on home soil against the man who brutally stopped him just over a year ago.

These generational strikers first collided in March 2025 at ONE 172, where Rodtang delivered one of the most spectacular knockouts in promotional history.
