The biggest fight in Muay Thai has finally been booked. ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon will defend his crown against highly decorated ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 on Friday, September 22.
The iconic Thais will go to battle in the main event of ONE Friday Fights 34 inside Bangkok, Thailand's famed Lumpinee Boxing Stadium. The pair have been on a collision course for many years now, and fans will be thrilled to see them square off live in Asia primetime.

Both champions were supposed to lock horns this past March at ONE Fight Night 8 for Superlek's ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Championship. But that was until Rodtang was forced out of the bout due to injury.
Since then, the modern-day titans' stocks have continued to rise, with Superlek enjoying his most active chapter in ONE. "The Kicking Machine" has dominated the competition in 2023, starting by capturing the division's gold against #5-ranked Daniel Puertas at ONE Fight Night 8.
Superlek then earned back-to-back stoppage victories over the course of the summer. He met touted striker Nabil Anane under Muay Thai rules in ONE Friday Fights 22's headliner, where he earned a first-round knockout of his much-taller foe.
The ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion followed that up with a second-round knockout of Tagir Khalilov - again under Muay Thai rules - just weeks later at ONE Fight Night 12. So, Superlek has certainly got the reps in ahead of the biggest battle of his career.
Elsewhere, Rodtang returned to action in May when the world's largest martial arts organization traveled to the U.S. for the first time with ONE Fight Night 10: Johnson vs. Moraes III. Fans quickly latched onto "The Iron Man" as he breezed through Edgar Tabares on the main card.
Since then, everybody has been looking for a fight with Muay Thai's most popular name, including Japanese kickboxing megastar Takeru Segawa. But his fight with Superlek comes as a shock to many fans, given how both Thai's wanted to see their compatriots hold all the belts in ONE.
While the pair's vision will be put on hold for now, the all-Thai tussle will see the victor leave Lumpinee with the ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Title draped over his shoulder. Can Rodtang's ruthlessness resume? Or will the summer of Superlek have its perfect moment?
