Reigning two-sport, two-weight king Roman Kryklia's empire is still standing tall. The 6-foot-7 Ukrainian behemoth dispatched his opponent, Lyndon Knowles, into oblivion in just over two minutes in the main event of ONE Fight Night 30.
On 5 April, when the action kicked off, many expected Kryklia to face a tough challenge against the WBC Muay Thai World Champion. However, fans at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and those watching around the world witnessed the raw power of Kryklia.

At the start of the ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Title bout, the 33-year-old pinned his opponent against the ropes and unleashed vicious combinations. The "Tower of Power" scored a knockdown with a left hook. Knowles, however, got back to his feet - but that was the beginning of the end.
After that, the man who remains undefeated in ONE landed a ferocious straight right to flatten his powerhouse rival. The knockout victory extended his win streak to 15. Kryklia revealed after the fight that his opponent's aggression helped him to get the W.
"I was waiting for a more aggressive attitude from my opponent. And if my opponents come to me aggressively, it's much easier for me to get the knockout, to find some weak places to target," Kryklia said.
"When I got him the first time, I understood that it was almost over, because [we were in] small gloves, and I felt that his defense was not perfect, and for me, it was a gift. And I thought that it would be the end soon."
The double champ has won all but one bout via stoppage under the ONE banner and hasn't lost a single fight since 2018. He captured the inaugural ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Title, inaugural ONE Heavyweight Muay Thai World Title, and ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Championship.
He has looked unstoppable so far. During the post-event presser, Kryklia stated that this knockout victory is another step toward becoming one of the greatest fighters. The fighter who began his martial arts journey at six also added that now he's waiting for strong opponents.
"This victory means just one more step to [get] up and one more possibility to get some attention from the audience and fans of martial arts. This one is one more step to become [one of the most successful fighters]," Kryklia said.
"I'm ready to be back in the ring in one week. I have no injury. I know I'm in good shape, so I'm waiting for the invitation for light heavyweight or heavyweight, in kickboxing and Muay Thai. I'm waiting for really good challenges and some really strong opponents for me."
