Rooney, Capello's trump card in England's World Cup campaign

By Super Admin

London, June 12 (ANI): England coach Fabio Capello has termed his team's star footballer Wayne Rooney as his trump card for lifting the 2010 World Cup trophy.

"Wayne is a fantastic player because he wants to win. The aggression of him is really strong," The Sun quoted him, as saying.

Capello also spoke about the Prime Minister David Cameron's recent statement, terming him as the most important person in the country.

"No, no. I'm a normal man...but my job is important at this moment because the World Cup is important for the country, the fans, but also for me," he said.

He also revealed his dream to end England's 44-year drought of winning the World Cup.

"It was a dream to be England manager and I hope the next dream comes off, too," he said.

He also seemed to be enjoying his present job.

"It's fantastic, it's exciting and it's a tough job. You can feel that, behind you, you have a whole country. You have to live for one month with policemen, press conferences every day, TV, everything at every moment. You switch on the television and it's all about the World Cup," he added.

England will start their campaign in a group match against USA later tonight.(ANI)
