New Delhi, Apr 3: Cycling Federation of India (CFI) president Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa has been nominated as the chairman of the Commonwealth Games Village Committee.

The committee will advise the Executive Managment on matters relating to planning and monitoring of the functional area.In a letter to Mr Dhindsa, Chairman of the Organising commitee (OC), Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010, Suresh Kalmadi said, ''the success of the games would, to a large extent depend on the advise and guidance you and your committee renders to the concerned functional areas'' ''As chairman you would be in touch with the OC's Executive Managment,'' Kalmadi added.
